Was isymdvr before. A Renamed App. Should be a Restore Purchase if you bought it before. Apple should look into this. Very Bad!

Im liking the app so far. I like the fact that the screen automatically dims once recording. Embedding the map of the route is a nice feature. There is a small issue though when I switch from 640x480 to 1280x720, it seems to delete all my videos in 640 and will only store one video in 1280 at a time. Other than that, its a pretty decent app for under $5

Id rate it 5* but got very frustrated dropbox doesnt link. Cant save to dropbox or upload. Gives error. Link to dropbox button doesnt do anything. Only thing working is export manually the file.

The best there is no question, Ive recently purchased 3 other dash cam apps that are really bad, then I found this one, oh my what a difference this one renders your speed, time, position, a map, with options to adjust the opacity of the map overlay and so on. I was a little concerned if it was compatible with my iPhone 6s but it works flawlessly, so I bought the full version. Thanks to the devs for this one, Great work ! Just to update my review today June 11th 2016 Its still the best, feature packed dash cam available as I posted previously none of the other ones Ive found offer the features this one includes right out of the gate, the others are full of in app per chases and you end up paying for features that should be included with a functioning dash cam. Thanks.

Has everything you need from a dash cam and even more!

This app has everything but hangs occasionally and is not optimized for iPhone 6 screen, ie cant use keyboard.

I tested almost all of them on AppStore and this one is the best so far. Many features and options plus very clean and good looking interface. Worth 6 stars!

I paid for the full version and Im kind of disappointed that I cant use the dash cam and listen to music at the same time. It would be great if the developers added the feature since other app developers have been able to implement it into their applications.

This app is the most complete dashcam ever built, even for those custom designed for the purpose. The older versions built by the original developer were rock solid. This version is very buggy. Freezes routinely, sometimes the mph works, sometimes it doesnt. The dev team needs to be more disciplined.

Really cool app, but hope that in nearest future will be implemented "route creation" like in navigators.

This is the old isymdvr app under a new name- I already paid for that app and now I have to buy it again? Not happy.

This guy changes the name of the app and the layout a little bit without adding new features then removed old version from the App Store and renames it to scan you into paying for the app all over again. I paid for this app twice so far and I dont havethe original isymdvr on my phone or computer anymore and since theyre not on the App Store anymore Im stuck paying for it a third time. Lets just say this will be the last time I get screwed by this guy. Good app but the developer is a straight up douche scamming people without providing new features.

Great 5 star app, uses a lot of battery so use while plugged in only. One star rating since the greedy Developer changed the original name of this app and stopped updates in order to get more $$$ from current users by forcing a "new" app purchase. This app used to be called isymDVR & isymDVR2, and I purchased the full version before... Unfair & bad business, Apple should fine or ban the developer from reposting any further rehashes of this same app with a simple name change.

The developer of iSymDVR is based in Crimea, which APPLE has BLOCKED all apps published from that area of the world. Google "Apple blocks developers in Crimea", there are literally thousands of news articles about it. The developer is not greedy, he was BLOCKED because of political BS, and there is no way of automatically letting previous owners of iSymDVR get this app for free, that only can happen when the original app is updated, which cant be because of the sanctions. Be grateful he re-released it at all. I support this guy for making literally the BEST dash cam app for iOS in the world, and its cheap on top of that. You all need to educate yourselves and stop looking like idiots.

Developer has changed the name of this app twice and recharged for it instead of pushing out updates. I paid money for the full version of this when it was called iSymDVR 1 and 2. May not be illegal what hes doing but its definitely unethical. Update: we ARE educated , but apparently you are not. Developer claims the name was changed because of the sanctions on Crimea, but the first time he changed the name a recharged had nothing to do with sanctions. Burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me.

I purchased the original iSymDVR app and have used it almost daily for months on end. I wrote a positive review and even contacted the developer to suggest he add a dimming feature or night mode. He not only replied immediately, he added the feature within a few weeks. Since I hadnt received any recent updates I checked and discovered the issue he has experienced with his location and Apple. Its a shame. Yes, I did spend another $4 to get full use of this new app, and I still beleive that my total $8 investment is a bargan for the functionality and use I get out of the app. It works flawlessly and is a bargain at twice the price.

I personally talked to the developer and he said the only reason he has republished the app is the U.S. Sanctions against Crimea where he is living. They keep pulling him off the App Store, which is in no way his fault. This app is awesome, it never fails me and always saves the clips I want it to, not to mention it is super easy to use and has thousands of awesome hidden features. It is well worth the money and I will buy it as long as it is available! Well worth it

I had an old iPhone 4 that I had no use for, so I decided to turn into a dash cam. After trying several dash cam apps I found this app to be the best in terms of performance and feature richness, so much so that I decided to pay for the full version without much hesitation. Its well worth it.
